Data & Account Deletion

This document outlines the steps for managing your data, including deleting data from specific integrations and deleting an entire tenant account.

Deleting Data from Integrations​

You have the ability to purge data from specific integrations such as Emails, Messenger, WhatsApp, and other channels. This action irreversibly removes all associated data permanently and cannot be undone. Removing access may affect agents, campaigns, and other workflows that relied on the purged data.

To purge data from an integration:

  1. Go to the Integrations page: https://app.chuff.co/manage/integrations
  2. Select the specific integration from which you want to delete data.
  3. On the integration details page, click the Purge Data button.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Deleting Your Account (Tenant)​

Only users with admin privileges can delete an entire tenant account. This action is permanent and has significant consequences.

To delete your tenant account:

  1. Navigate to your Settings page: https://app.chuff.co/settings/
  2. Under the Danger Zone section, locate and click the Delete Tenant button.
  3. To confirm the deletion, re-enter your password and click Confirm.

What Happens After Account Deletion?​

Deleting a tenant account has several significant consequences:

  • Loss of Access: Everyone associated with the deleted tenant will immediately lose access to the application.
  • Subscription Cancellation: All active subscriptions will be canceled in accordance with our Terms of Service.
    • As per Section 4.2 of our Terms, "You may cancel your Chuff subscription at any time. However, no in-cycle refunds will be provided for any unused portion of your current billing cycle. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, and you will retain access to the Service until that time."
  • Integration Credentials: All integration credentials will be immediately deleted for security purposes.
  • Data Deletion: All other data associated with the tenant is scheduled for permanent deletion within 45 days from the date of cancellation.
